Not having enough Bandwidth or Time has become a growing problem across all industries, and it's only getting worse. Subscriptions, apps and new products are being marketed to the consumers faster and more frequently than ever before. Great, but where do I start?
Before committing to any new tools, we recommend starting with a simple exercise and it's only three steps.
Write out all of the steps that a sales rep would need to go through from nurturing a prospect up to the close of the sale. If you know what system that step happens in (CRM, email, phone, etc.), be sure to note that system on each step as well.
Then try to apply a realistic amount of time, or a range of time, to each of those steps.
Highlight the biggest time bandits and meet with your team to confirm if the information is accurate and begin discussions as to how to reduce the time it takes to execute each task.
Once you have finished the exercise, you can start to have a better visual understanding as to where everyone's time goes, and now you can start doing something about it!
